DeGeneres Drained
Ellen DeGeneres realized her life-long dream of hosting the Academy Award ceremony, but she was left emotionally exhausted. She explained, “The experience made me want to cry. I don’t know, it’s tough. You’re scrutinized on a show like this and I don’t know. I was kind of floating. I’ll have to think about it later, because I don’t really know how I did. It felt good. It was a dream of mine, so, to have done it, I feel very emotional right now.” When told her reviews for hosting the show were good she replied, “That’s nice to hear.”
