Lindsay Lohan quietly turned herself in to face charges of driving under the influence in connection with the Memorial Day weekend hit-and-run crash that sent her into rehab.”She was accompanied by her attorney as she surrendered at the Beverly Hills Police Department to be fingerprinted and photographed,” Officer Brian Ballieweg said. Lohan was held in custody for about an hour until she was released on $30,000 bail. Sources close to the case say that this was simply a routine process, as often times people arrested for driving under the influence are simply cited and released.”Lohan’s blood-alcohol level at the time of the crash was above Californias 0.08 percent legal limit,” Ballieweg said “She is also faces a misdemeanor charge of hit and run,” he said. “Lohan and two other adults were in her 2005 Mercedes convertible when she lost control and crashed into a curb and shrubs on Sunset Boulevard on May 26,” police said. “Lohan got into a second car and was driven to a hospital in Century City for minor injuries,” police said. The others in her car were not hurt. Police received a 911 call about the accident and traced Lohan to the hospital. Lohan was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to be back in court on August 24.

Barba, a former ‘American Idol’ contestant offered some advice to Amy Polumbo, who was at the center of her own racy-photo scandal less than a month after being crowned Miss New Jersey. “I used to say ‘Cover your tracks,’ but it really should be, ‘Don’t make tracks that need to be covered,’” Barba said. “Once anything is online, it’s free reign.” Polumbo revealed that someone was trying to blackmail her into resigning her crown by threatening to release embarrassing photos that she had previously posted on her Facebook webpage. Polumbo acknowledged that some of the photos showed her “not in a ladylike manner,” but none of the photos featured nudity. The Miss New Jersey pageant board decided not take away her crown. Lindsay Lohan’s next film role was reportedly canceled after producers raised concerns about her post-rehab partying. Lohan was released from Promises rehab center in Malibu, California on July 13 and was spotted partying with pals in Las Vegas just days later. When Lohan checked into rehab in June, producers on the crime caper movie ‘Poor Things’ agreed to delay filming until she had completed treatment. However, following Lohan’s recent socializing and her well-publicized actions on the set of ‘Bobby’ and ‘Georgia Rule’ last year, a source claimed the film’s producers were concerned about the her behavior. But sources now claim the Lohan/Shirley MacClaine film was brought down by problems with cash flow, and not by Lohan’s recent mini vacation in Las Vegas.”The spending was out of control, and that ultimately caused the film’s demise,” the source said. Lohan’s arrest on suspicion of DUI happened just a few days before she was set to start shooting the film. The production company was fine with waiting for Lohans recovery, even saying that Lindsay would be shuttled back and forth from Promises in Malibu to the set in Santa Monica. Lohan’s rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, would not discuss the project, saying only that Lindsay was “not the reason” for the film’s problems.

Tom Sizemore says an attack on former girlfriend Heidi Fleiss never happened and he is trying to overturn his 2003 misdemeanor corporal injury conviction for the assault. At a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court, plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Cardenas, testified that he didn’t see bruises on the face of Sizemore’s former girlfriend and former Hollywood madame Heidi Fleiss, days after she claimed he punched her in the jaw at a Beverly Hills hotel.”There was no sign of any trauma, bruising or anything like that?” Fay Arfa, Sizemore’s attorney, asked Dr.Cardenas.”I did not notice anything like that,” said Cardenas, who said he had a conversation with Sizemore and Fleiss around 2 a.m. April 13, 2003, about five days after the assault. Cardenas said he was called to treat Sizemore for a cut and was introduced to Fleiss. The three had a brief conversation after he was done treating Sizemore, he said.”You saw their interaction together and it seemed like they were getting along?” Arfa asked him. “Yes,” Cardenas said. Deputy District Attorney Robert Cha said metabolism or treatment might have reduced Fleiss’ swollen face by the time the doctor saw her. He also suggested Fleiss might have used “cover-up items” to conceal the injuries. Sizemore is currently serving a 16-month prison term for violating probation in a Los Angeles methamphetamine case and faces another six years behind bars if convicted on other drug-related charges. He did not attend the hearing.

Now, with the remaining two tapes, she has no say.”She is allegedly worried Doherty could resort to selling the remaing footage for money after he suffered a relapse in his efforts to kick his heroin habit. A source claims, “There are still some bits and pieces floating about of Pete with Kate. She has got rid of most of it. Six out of eight tapes have been destroyed. But she wanted to bury the lot before he could humiliate her by selling them or putting them on the internet. Lindsay Lohan was arrested just eight days out of rehab for drunk driving in Santa Monica early this morning. This is her second arrest in less than three months. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept., Lohan was stopped around 2:15 AM.Police pulled her over after they got a call of a vehicle being chased by another vehicle. The chasing vehicle was being driven by Lohan. Lohan was driving a white Denali. She was chasing a Cadillac Escalade.Lohan was arrested this time for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of cocaine. A law enforcement source connected with the arrest says, “Lindsay was ‘a real bitch in the field.’” The source adds, “Lohan was uncooperative and showed obvious signs of intoxication.” She refused to submit to a PASD, Preliminary Alcohol Screening Device, a chemical test administered in the field to determine blood alcohol levels. The police did administer a walk-the-line test, and Lohan flunked. Just last week, Lohan was booked by Beverly Hills PD for an alleged Memorial Day weekend DUI crash. She was due back in court on August 24 to face charges of driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 and misdemeanor hit and run.

The latest saga of Lindsay Lohan began when a frightened woman dialed 911 to report being chased by Lohan’s SUV. “Authorities had received a 911 call from the mother of Lohan’s former personal assistant,” said Officer Alex Padilla. The assistant had just quit hours before.”The mother was afraid,” Padilla said. “She wasn’t quite sure what was going on so she called the police saying she wanted to make sure everything was going to be OK.” “The woman apparently didn’t realize it was Lohan who was behind her,” Padilla said. The woman drove her black Cadillac Escalade into the parking lot of Santa Monica’s Civic Auditorium, about a block away from the Santa Monica Police Department, followed by Lohan driving a Denali sport utility vehicle. “Authorities arrived and saw Lohan and the woman in “heated debate,” Padilla said. “Lohan and the woman each had two passengers in their vehicles,” Padilla said. After a field sobriety test, Lohan was arrested on two misdemeanor charges of suspicion of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transport of a narcotic, Sgt. Shane Talbot said. Less than two weeks out of rehab, with another drunk driving case pending, Lohan had a blood-alcohol level of between .12 and .13 percent when police found her, Sgt. Talbot said. “During a pre-booking search, police found cocaine in one of Lohan’s pants pockets,” Talbot said. Lohan left Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility on July 13, after a stay of more than six weeks. When she left, her publicist, Leslie Sloan Zelnik said Lohan would voluntarily wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet. “In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served,” Zelnik said in a statement at the time. Padilla said he wasn’t sure if Lohan was wearing it when she was stopped early Tuesday.

Britney Spears, who’s managing her own career now, showed up for her self-arranged photo shoot and interview with OK! Magazine to promote her big comeback. The shoot was an “exclusive” for self-described “celeb friendly” OK! Magazine and it was a complete disaster. The photos are reportedly so bad, execs at the magazine are trying to decide whether to report what actually happened or sanitize the truth to protect Spears. According to multiple sources, Britney’s behavior during the interview was “nothing less than a meltdown.” She was, according to sources, “completely out of it” during the shoot. The photos are “so bad” to publish them could “kill her career.” Apparently, Spear’s eyes rolled back in her head at one point, causing her to look half dead. Her mood, was extremely erratic. She took frequent bathroom breaks the source says, and each time she returned, her mood would change. She was also completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her. Spears also had some issues with hygiene on the set as well. At one point, she ordered some fried chicken to munch on. After she ate, she wiped her hands on a several thousand dollar Gucci dress that she was wearing for the shoot, staining it with grease. One of her dogs that she brought along, also needed some assistance in the housebreaking department. The on-set spy says that the dog pooped all over the floor, and Spears used a Chanel dress to clean it up. As for how Spears looked for the photos, it was another nightmare. OK! hired two of the best hair and makeup artists in Los Angeles to transform the once-bald Spears into something more presentable, but she ‘wasn’t having none of that.’ She refused to let them touch her, opting instead for her “friends” to do her hair and makeup.

Lindsay Lohan might be be facing jail time for her latest run in with the law. Already facing charges for driving under the influence and misdemeanor hit and run in Beverly Hills, she racked up even more charges overnight in Santa Monica, and is now facing possible big-time jail time. The maximum sentence she faced for the original DUI and hit and run charges was 6 months for each. Last night, Lohan was charged with another DUI. If convicted of both DUIs, she could face up to one year in jail. Her problems don’t stop there. She was also charged with possession of cocaine, which is a felony and carries a maximum of three years in jail. Lohan is accused of driving on a suspended license as well, which carries a maximum of one year in jail. Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days for the same offense. As far as the allegation of bringing cocaine into a correctional facility, sources say that this charge will most likely be dropped, because it is only enforced if someone transports drugs to an inmate in custody. Judges don’t usually take kindly to arrestees whose crimes occur so close together. It’s quite possible that the proverbial book will be thrown at Lohan. She could face six years in jail.

Lindsay Lohan’s father has just called off his custody battle with his estranged wife Dina to concentrate on helping Lindsay with her alcohol and drug problems. Dupuy recalls Bennett being “hostile” and trying “to intimidate” her as she attempted to take his name, license number and insurance details, which she claims he lied about.Dupuy says he gave her the fake name “James Clark” and a fake number, which she says was confirmed by Bennet’s insurance adjuster. Days after the collision, Dupuy wrote a letter to Lohan’s rep trying to “settle the situation,” but says she hasn’t heard back. Lohan’s rep says she did get the letter but “filed it away,” adding “I assumed the letter was sent to Lindsay’s lawyers . That’s what they’re paid for.”

Lindsay Lohan quietly turned herself in to face charges of driving under the influence in connection with the Memorial Day weekend hit-and-run crash that sent her into rehab.”She was accompanied by her attorney as she surrendered at the Beverly Hills Police Department to be fingerprinted and photographed,” Officer Brian Ballieweg said. Lohan was held in custody for about an hour until she was released on $30,000 bail. Sources close to the case say that this was simply a routine process, as often times people arrested for driving under the influence are simply cited and released.”Lohan’s blood-alcohol level at the time of the crash was above Californias 0.08 percent legal limit,” Ballieweg said “She is also faces a misdemeanor charge of hit and run,” he said. “Lohan and two other adults were in her 2005 Mercedes convertible when she lost control and crashed into a curb and shrubs on Sunset Boulevard on May 26,” police said. “Lohan got into a second car and was driven to a hospital in Century City for minor injuries,” police said. The others in her car were not hurt. Police received a 911 call about the accident and traced Lohan to the hospital. Lohan was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to be back in court on August 24.

Sarah Silverman regrets poking fun at Paris Hilton on the eve of her June jail stint after watching footage of the MTV Movie Awards. Silverman, who hosted the awards show, joked about Hilton’s upcoming prison term, while Paris sat awkwardly in the audience. Cameras captured a hurt Hilton as she sat in her seat, just hours before she began her prison sentence for a probation violation at Century Regional Detention Center, and Silverman admits she has felt terrible ever since. She says, “I thought, ‘She’s got to know there’s going to be a joke about her,’ so I went for it. But then I looked down and saw a man in her face with a camera. I was there to be funny and I was, but that doesn’t mean I can’t feel bad about it.” A forgiving Hilton admits she knows Silverman was just trying to land a few laughs: “She’s a funny comedienne and hopefully she won’t be as mean the next time she sees me.”

Antonella Barba says she knows about dealing with a provocative photo scandal. Barba, a former ‘American Idol’ contestant offered some advice to Amy Polumbo, who was at the center of her own racy-photo scandal less than a month after being crowned Miss New Jersey. “I used to say ‘Cover your tracks,’ but it really should be, ‘Don’t make tracks that need to be covered,’” Barba said. “Once anything is online, it’s free reign.” Polumbo revealed that someone was trying to blackmail her into resigning her crown by threatening to release embarrassing photos that she had previously posted on her Facebook webpage. Polumbo acknowledged that some of the photos showed her “not in a ladylike manner,” but none of the photos featured nudity. The Miss New Jersey pageant board decided not take away her crown. Barba’s photo scandal was similar, as ‘Idol’ producers said they had no intentions of disqualifying her from the competition and she was subsequently eliminated by viewer votes.”I feel so bad for Polumbo,” Barba said. “I’ve been in the same situation she’s been in. It disgusts me, people’s interest in the dirt and trying to bring somebody down.”"We just want to prevent this from happening to someone else,” Barba said.
